Captain Jim Loftus is a United States Coast Guard Master licensed captain and is fully insured. He is also a guide member of the Lower Keys Guides Association, the Florida Coastal Conservation Association and a Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary Blue Star operator.
Capatin Jim operates two vessels to cover your fishing needs. you have the ability to fish on a 16' Hewes Bonfisher or a 22' center console Panga.

Q. Is there a deposit required to reserve a trip?
A. Yes, typically 20% of the trip chosen.
Q. Is there a cancellation policy?
A. Yes, all cancellations need to be made 7 days prior to the trip or the deposit is surrendered.
Q. Is my deposit refundable due to weather related issues?
A. Yes, you will receive 100% of your deposit back if your trip is canceled due to weather conditions.
The Captain will make the determination on weather related cancellations such as wind, rain and lightning. Remember your safety is my top priority.
Q. Are there any fuel surcharges?
A. Never, all fuel and oil is included with your package.
Q. Do I need a fishing license?
A. No, the captains charter license covers all of his passengers.
Q. Is fish cleaning part of my charter?
A. Yes, the captain will clean and bag all of your fish to take with you should you choose.
Q. What should I bring?
A. Hat-Sunglasses (polarized if possible)-Sunblock-Non marking shoes or flip flops-Camera-Lunch and or any snacks you wish-Adult beverages in cans only please, no glass-Rain gear (you never know)
Q. Do you provide fly fishing gear?
A. Unfortunately I do not due to the fact that every person has different needs when it comes to fly fishing. You are more than welcome to bring your own.
Q. What safety equipment is on board?
A. All vessels have safety equipment required by the USCG such as life jackets-fire extinguishers-flares- first aid kit-throwable PFD-VHF radio-GPS-locator beacon.
Q. Do I need to pay additional for bait?
A. No, all bait alive and dead is part of your package.
Q. Does the boat provide ice and water?
A. Yes, the boat will have fresh ice and bottled water for you.
Q. Is there a discount for multi day trips?
A. Yes, a multi day discount can be negotiated at the time of reservation.
Q. Is there a discount for law enforcement or active military personnel?
A. Yes, the discount is 10%.
